Disposable, single-use mop pads hold more liquid, release liquid over a larger surface area and at a controlled rate, and reduce friction

Hospeco has launched Virtu-Clean Disposable Cleaning Pads, which are specially engineered for maximum coverage, clean and convenience. These disposable, single-use mop pads check all the boxes, holding more liquid, releasing that liquid over a larger surface area and at a controlled rate, and reducing friction for more effort-free cleaning. Virtu-Clean pads come in three types: Virtu-Clean VCU, Virtu-Clean DC and Virtu-Clean DCS. Virtu-Clean VCU disposable single-use pads are non-quat binding, with an embossed design for reduced friction and bonded edges to improve performance by greatly reducing linting concerns. It has a higher absorption rate (900%) and greater cleaning coverage (up to 360 square feet) than comparable competing brands. Its nonwoven backing minimizes lint, keeps cost down, and makes VCU an ideal choice for floor mopping. Virtu-Clean DC disposable pads hold nine times their weight in liquid—to grab maximum cleaning solution for more sanitary and efficient single-use cleaning. Further, Virtu-Clean DC releases nearly all that solution onto the floor—or other hard surface—in controlled amounts, enough to clean 300 to 360 square feet, eliminating heavy-to-start and thin-to-finish cleaner distribution. The result is consistent cleaning across the entire surface. Virtu-Clean DCS comes with a built-in scrubber. The scrubber pad option is for more aggressive cleaning and stain removal and is designed to hold seven times its weight in cleaning fluid, which translates into a charge-once-and-clean coverage area of 180 to 240 square feet. Virtu-Clean pads’ microfiber construction assures more fiber is interacting with surfaces, maximizing the lift and hold of dust, dirt and grime. Plus, the cleaning surface employs a carefully mapped embossment pattern that reduces surface-to-mop friction, resulting in easy, even cleaning strokes and reduced musculoskeletal strain. The embossment also actively channels dirt toward the center of the pad where it remains. Finally, the sonically-welded edges won’t fray and lint—an essential characteristics for cleanrooms and healthcare—which leaves behind a cleaner floor. Although ideal for floor care applications, the cleaning pads’ core benefits make them invaluable for cleanrooms and critical environments where the pad contributes to sterilization and decontamination protocols for floors, walls and ceilings. Specifically for these micro-manufacturing and other cleanroom applications, products are double-bagged to satisfy packaging protocols. All pads are USP compliant. VCU and VDCD are ISO Class 5 and VCDC ISO is Class 6. Virtu-Clean DC and Virtu-Clean DCS pads employ eco-friendly manufacturing with 50% post-consumer recycled content and no chemical dyes. Both pad options can be used with most flat mop bases; however, Hospeco Brands Group designed the pads to pair with the new Sphergo Swivel, for a more complete ergonomic solution. Both Virtu-Clean or Sphergo Swivel with Virtu-Clean combo are ideal for foodservice and food processing operations, healthcare facilities, cleanrooms, controlled environments, and other institutions—charge once, even coverage, and a cleaner floor.
